Known as Pakistan's Shangri-La, the Hunza Valley is as quiet as it is lovely. A pocket of verdant green among the dry transcending mountains, it is a place that is known for burbling streams, bottomless plantations and accommodating local people.

The valley is a prevalent visiting point along the Karakoram Highway, with a lot of vivid guesthouses offering agreeable and serene convenience. Nourishment is ample and great here, as well, with the plantation and fields giving produce that is crisp and delicious.

The mountains encompassing the valley are specked with medieval fortifications, offering stunning climbs should you feel vivacious. Most guests, notwithstanding, are glad to pick an agreeable spot on the veranda of their visitor house and absorb the stunning view from that point, a plate of naturally picked leafy foods hot cup of sweet chai to hand.
