A variant (strain) of the coronavirus first identified in the United Kingdom is being seen in various countries around the world. This information was given in the report of BBC online on Sunday.

This new type of corona has been identified in various European countries as well as Canada and Japan.

The Corona strain has spread to Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland and France in Europe.

Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during this time. This list includes Australia, South Africa, Lebanon, Singapore, Thailand. This strain was eventually identified in Japan and Canada.

Japan first reported that at least five people had been diagnosed with new types of corona. They all recently came to the country from the UK. Two more corona were later identified in the country. One of them has been infected locally.

Japan has banned most non-resident foreign nationals from entering the country for a month since Monday.

This strain of a couple has been identified in Ontario, Canada. However, no history of their journey was known. Apart from that, they did not go near anyone at high risk.

The United Kingdom reported the new strain infection on 14 December. Scientists say that this new strain spreads faster and faster than the previous strain.

Last week, several countries around the world imposed travel bans in the United Kingdom due to the introduction of a new type of corona.

Meanwhile, corona vaccine is being applied in European countries from Sunday.
