The most elevated high lake in Pakistan, the flabbergasting green Saiful Muluk lake sits at 3,200m tall in a valley above Narran, encompassed by snowcapped mountains and icy masses.

Legend has it that a sovereign, Saif-ul-Malook, became hopelessly enamored with a pixie princess here, and on a starry evening, when the lake resembles a mirror, the impressions of the stars twinkle superficially like an enchanted procession.

Getting to the lake isn't simple. It's a hot and sweat-soaked two hour climb up the mountain from Narran, or a hair-raising jeep drive up one of the world's most deceptive streets.

When you're there, be that as it may, you'll be blessed to receive wonderful temperatures, stunning perspectives and the opportunity to pontoon on the lake, ride a steed along its shore or fish for trout. Should you get one, local people that live here will joyfully cook for you.
